Chicago Bears: They have a lot of young talent, and have the potential to be great under new HC Matt Nagy. The question is if they will be able to execute and become great. The offensive line needs to play at a much higher level this season to protect their young QB, and allow him to find one of their many new WRs. Speaking of, the Bears suddenly have a potentially great wide receivers corps with the return of Bellamy and White, the addition of the experienced Robinson and Gabriel, and the drafting of promising rookies like Miller and Wims. The running game is not a concern for the Bears because Howard and Cohen are only getting better and are a great 1-2 punch. The Bears defense also gained a lot of momentum last year, and could really improve with their new additions and draftees. There are a lot of weapons on this roster, and they could do some real damage on both sides of the ball if the lines hold up. Record: 7-9.

Green Bay Packers: They look like a mixed bag, but will still be the great team they always are when Rodgers is healthy. They lost some big names within the past year. It started when Bennett suddenly refused to play and was traded before the 2017 season. Then they lost Nelson and Janis to free agency, which hurt their wide receiving corps significantly. However, the addition of Graham was genius and could really help their offense. They addressed their needs in the draft by picking multiple CBs and WRs, but nobody can count on rookies to carry a team. Their running game is uncertain with Montgomery being the best option right now. He’s a good back, but I think they need to real back instead of a converted receiver being the starter. The secondary is obviously still up in the air, but offseason additions could fill in those holes. With Rodgers at the helm, I don’t this team does too badly at all. Record: 9-7.

I think that they split the two games they play against each other in 2018. The Bears are on the rise with young talent while the Packers are trying to fill in a lot of holes with young players. Both should have good seasons, and hopefully their rivalry games will be memorable ones.
